Hasta 2022, el uso de M-N-MA no estaba regulado, sin embargo, la 49\u00aa Enmienda de IFRA <strong>limit\u00f3 su uso al 0,1%<\/strong> en varias categor\u00edas de productos debido a sus efectos fotot\u00f3xicos.<\/p>\n<p>La Comisi\u00f3n Europea encarg\u00f3 al Comit\u00e9 Cient\u00edfico de Seguridad del Consumidor (CCSC) evaluar si su uso era seguro en productos cosm\u00e9ticos debido a la fotosensibilidad del ingrediente.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bfQu\u00e9 restricciones se aplican a M-N-MA?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El Reglamento de la Comisi\u00f3n (UE) 2022\/135 incluye en el Reglamento de Cosm\u00e9ticos de la UE las conclusiones del Consejo Cient\u00edfico SCCS 1616\/20 y la Opini\u00f3n SCCS 1455\/11.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan la nueva entrada en el Anexo III del Reglamento de Cosm\u00e9ticos de la UE, M-N-MA se puede usar:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>En productos de aplicaci\u00f3n directa hasta el 0,1%;<\/li>\n<li>En productos de enjuague hasta el 0,2%.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, M-N-MA no se puede usar con agentes nitrosantes, permitiendo un m\u00e1ximo de contenido de nitrosamina de 50 \u03bcg\/kg, y los productos que contienen M-N-MA deben almacenarse en recipientes libres de nitritos.<\/p>\n<p>Por \u00faltimo, Methyl-N-methylanthranilate no se puede usar en productos de aplicaci\u00f3n directa \u00abproductos de protecci\u00f3n solar y productos comercializados para la exposici\u00f3n a la luz UV natural o artificial\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fecha l\u00edmite para M-N-MA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La Comisi\u00f3n Europea estableci\u00f3 algunos plazos para implementar los cambios y el 21 de noviembre de 2022, los productos que no cumplan con los requisitos deben retirarse de los estantes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Referencias<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Comisi\u00f3n Europea (2022).
