Aunque el pl\u00e1stico es un material importante en nuestra vida cotidiana, este tipo de residuos est\u00e1 aumentando r\u00e1pidamente.<\/p>\n<p>Si el pl\u00e1stico no se desecha o recicla adecuadamente, puede acabar en el medio ambiente donde permanece durante siglos y se degrada en piezas cada vez m\u00e1s peque\u00f1as. Estas peque\u00f1as piezas (generalmente m\u00e1s peque\u00f1as que 5 mm) se llaman <strong>micropl\u00e1sticos<\/strong> y son motivo de preocupaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Los micropl\u00e1sticos se <strong>a\u00f1aden intencionalmente<\/strong> a una serie de productos, incluyendo fertilizantes, productos de protecci\u00f3n de plantas, cosm\u00e9ticos, detergentes dom\u00e9sticos e industriales, productos de limpieza, pinturas y productos utilizados en la industria del petr\u00f3leo y el gas.<\/p>\n<p>Dado que la visi\u00f3n de la UE destaca la transici\u00f3n hacia una econom\u00eda de pl\u00e1sticos m\u00e1s sostenible, todos los actores de la cadena de suministro deben desempe\u00f1ar un papel.<\/p>\n<p>En 2017, la <strong>Comisi\u00f3n Europea<\/strong> solicit\u00f3 a ECHA que evaluara la evidencia cient\u00edfica para adoptar medidas reglamentarias a nivel de la UE sobre los micropl\u00e1sticos que se a\u00f1aden intencionadamente a los productos, y en enero de 2019, ECHA propuso una amplia restricci\u00f3n sobre los <strong>micropl\u00e1sticos<\/strong> en productos puestos en el mercado de la UE\/EEE para evitar o reducir su liberaci\u00f3n al medio ambiente.<\/p>\n<p>El Comit\u00e9 de Evaluaci\u00f3n de Riesgos (RAC) de ECHA adopt\u00f3 su opini\u00f3n en junio de 2020 y el Comit\u00e9 de An\u00e1lisis Socioecon\u00f3mico (SEAC) adopt\u00f3 su opini\u00f3n en diciembre de 2020.<\/p>\n<p><strong>La Comisi\u00f3n<\/strong> ha preparado su proyecto de reglamento siguiendo el informe de ECHA y la opini\u00f3n combinada de los comit\u00e9s. Este se public\u00f3 el <strong>30 de agosto de 2022<\/strong> y se discuti\u00f3 por primera vez con los Estados miembros en el Comit\u00e9 REACH el 23 de septiembre de 2022.<\/p>\n<p><strong>El Anexo XVII del Reglamento REACH<\/strong> se modificar\u00e1 para restringir las <strong>micropart\u00edculas de pol\u00edmeros sint\u00e9ticos<\/strong>, pol\u00edmeros s\u00f3lidos que bien se encuentren en part\u00edculas y constituyan al menos el 1 % en peso de esas part\u00edculas, o formen un recubrimiento de superficie continua en part\u00edculas, donde al menos el 1 % en peso de esas part\u00edculas cumpla con diferentes condiciones enumeradas.<\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n se excluyen diferentes pol\u00edmeros que son el resultado de un proceso de <strong>polimerizaci\u00f3n<\/strong> que ha tenido lugar en la naturaleza, que no son sustancias modificadas qu\u00edmicamente; <strong>pol\u00edmeros degradables<\/strong>, pol\u00edmeros con solubilidad mayor de 2 g\/L y pol\u00edmeros que no contienen \u00e1tomos de carbono en su estructura qu\u00edmica.<\/p>\n<p>Un ap\u00e9ndice de la enmienda establece las normas para demostrar la degradabilidad de los pol\u00edmeros, publicando diferentes m\u00e9todos para garantizar el cumplimiento de las diferentes restricciones, y deber\u00e1 ser llevado a cabo por laboratorios que cumplan con los principios de buena pr\u00e1ctica de laboratorio establecidos en la Directiva 2004\/10\/CE u otros est\u00e1ndares internacionales reconocidos como equivalentes por la Comisi\u00f3n o la Agencia, o acreditados seg\u00fan la norma ISO 17025.<\/p>\n<p>El equipo de Cosmeservice est\u00e1 a su disposici\u00f3n, si desea obtener m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n sobre este tema o recibir apoyo regulatorio, no dude en ponerse en contacto con nosotros en <a href=\"mailto:info@cosmeservice.com\"><strong>info@cosmeservice.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Para m\u00e1s informaci\u00f3n y detalles, consulte el proyecto de reglamento completo en:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/transparency\/comitologyregister\/screen\/documents\/083921\/1\/consult?lang=en\">https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/transparency\/comitologyregister\/screen\/documents\/083921\/1\/consult?lang=en<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El pl\u00e1stico hace nuestras vidas m\u00e1s f\u00e1ciles de muchas maneras y a menudo es m\u00e1s ligero o cuesta menos que los materiales alternativos.
