Esta revisi\u00f3n se centr\u00f3 espec\u00edficamente en sustancias que presentan propiedades disruptivas endocrinas (ED), es decir, sustancias qu\u00edmicas capaces de alterar el funcionamiento del sistema endocrino y, por ende, generar efectos adversos para la salud humana.<\/p><p>Aunque el Reglamento de Cosm\u00e9ticos no incluye disposiciones expl\u00edcitas sobre sustancias disruptivas endocrinas, establece un marco regulatorio s\u00f3lido para garantizar un alto nivel de protecci\u00f3n para la salud humana. Las inquietudes ambientales relacionadas con los ingredientes de los productos cosm\u00e9ticos se abordan bajo el Reglamento (CE) No 1907\/2006, conocido como el &#8216;Reglamento REACH&#8217;.<\/p><p>El Metilparabeno figura entre las sustancias identificadas en este proceso de revisi\u00f3n, lo que ha impulsado una solicitud de datos como parte de esta exhaustiva evaluaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1b1cc1a elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"1b1cc1a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Methylparaben: para que sirve<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-939f8bd elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"939f8bd\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p data-start=\"166\" data-end=\"529\"><strong data-start=\"195\" data-end=\"212\">El metilparabeno<\/strong> es un compuesto qu\u00edmico ampliamente utilizado que funciona principalmente como conservante en <strong data-start=\"294\" data-end=\"306\">productos cosm\u00e9ticos<\/strong> y <strong data-start=\"311\" data-end=\"338\">farmac\u00e9uticos<\/strong>. Ayuda a prolongar la vida \u00fatil al prevenir el crecimiento de<strong data-start=\"370\" data-end=\"423\"> bacterias, moho y hongos<\/strong>, lo que garantiza que las cremas, lociones, maquillajes y otras formulaciones sigan siendo <strong data-start=\"493\" data-end=\"512\">seguras y estables<\/strong> para los consumidores. <\/p><p data-start=\"531\" data-end=\"851\">Este ingrediente forma parte de la <strong data-start=\"562\" data-end=\"580\">familia de los parabenos<\/strong>, un grupo de compuestos que se a\u00f1aden con frecuencia a los productos de cuidado personal para mantener su integridad a lo largo del tiempo. Debido a su eficacia en concentraciones muy bajas, el <strong data-start=\"738\" data-end=\"755\">metilparabeno<\/strong> se encuentra habitualmente en cremas hidratantes, champ\u00fas, protectores solares e incluso en determinados medicamentos t\u00f3picos. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-cedc46b elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"cedc46b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">\u00bfCu\u00e1l es la raz\u00f3n detr\u00e1s de la emisi\u00f3n de la Opini\u00f3n Final del SCCS?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b6c587b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b6c587b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>El Metilparabeno<\/strong>, tambi\u00e9n conocido por su nombre qu\u00edmico &#8216;Metil 4-hidroxibenzoato&#8217;, est\u00e1 actualmente regulado como conservante (Anexo V, entrada 12) con <strong>concentraciones<\/strong> permitidas de hasta 0.4% (expresado como \u00e1cido) cuando se usa solo, o hasta 0.8% para mezclas de \u00e9steres (Anexo V, entrada 12, columna g).<\/p><p>Se han llevado a cabo diversas evaluaciones de seguridad sobre el Metilparabeno. Durante la fase de recopilaci\u00f3n de datos, las partes interesadas presentaron evidencia cient\u00edfica que afirmaba la seguridad del ingrediente como conservante en productos cosm\u00e9ticos.
